Cable Technician

Looking to fill roles in all of the below locations: Red Oak, TX Amarillo, TX Responsibilities Install and terminate coaxial, fiber optic, and other cable types according to industry standards and project specifications. Perform testing and troubleshooting of cable systems to identify and resolve faults or performance issues. Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, including site reports and test results. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan and execute cable installation projects efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all installation and maintenance tasks. Qualifications and requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to learn about cable types, connectors, and testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required Must be able and willing to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week (60-80 hours/week) Clear background check required (no felonies, violent misdemeanors, or active/open cases) Must be able to comply with random drug testing requirements Citizenship / Work Authorization: Individuals must provide valid documentation confirming their authorization to work, in accordance with applicable legal and company requirements. Required Tools: Cable cutters and Phillips screwdriver. Preferred qualifications Certification in fiber optic installation (e.g., FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician). Experience working with fiber optic splicing and testing equipment Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Previous experience in the wholesale trade or telecommunications industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and physical stamina for fieldwork. #J-18808-Ljbffr
