Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Maintenance Controller

Role The Maintenance Controller is responsible for managing all aircraft maintenance activity across the fleet, including scheduled, unscheduled, and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events, while ensuring safety and FAA compliance. Responsibilities Serve as the central hub between pilots, maintenance shops, and operations, providing technical support to flight crews and maintenance personnel (MEL). Create, schedule, and release maintenance work orders. Monitor and update maintenance tracking systems such as Traxxall, CMP, and Corrin. Coordinate AOG situations and troubleshoot issues. Ensure aircraft are properly cleared for Return to Service (RTS). Track and ensure all maintenance is completed within FAA time limits. Communicate maintenance status updates to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license (mandatory). 2–3+ years of experience in corporate aircraft maintenance. Experience with Citation, Challenger, and Gulfstream aircraft. Familiarity with King Air and Pilatus aircraft. Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems such as Traxxall, CMP, and Corrin. Strong MS Office skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
