Job Description – Territory Sales Manager Sapphire Gas Solutions LLC (Sapphire) is a national leader in the engineering, design, implementation, and execution of turnkey projects that deliver renewable natural gas(“RNG”), liquefied natural gas(“LNG”), compressed natural gas(“CNG”), and C&I power generation solutions to pipeline operators, agriculture customers, and heavy industrial customers, including manufacturing and data center developments throughout the United States. Job titleTerritory Sales Manager (C&I Power) Reports toNational Sales Director Job Purpose Sapphire Gas Solutions is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to lead outside sales growth within our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Power Division across the Gulf Coast Region (TX, OK, NM, AR, LA). This role owns a defined territory and is responsible for driving new business development, managing key accounts, and expanding Sapphire's presence among commercial and industrial operators who need reliable, flexible energy solutions. This role supports the full range of Sapphire's C&I power and gas solutions including temporary power, bridge power, prime and backup generation, peak shaving, full energy campus solutions, and combined power and gas supply for commercial and industrial operators whose existing power and natural gas infrastructure cannot keep up. Target industries include manufacturing, construction, utilities, oil & gas, data centers, and other critical infrastructure customers. The Territory Sales Manager will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for new and assigned customers in the region, working cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and supply teams to deliver solutions that meet customer reliability, cost, and emissions objectives. This is a high-visibility role for a driven, senior sales professional who wants ownership of a territory with significant growth potential, including emerging demand from data centers and other large-load industrial customers. This position is based in Conroe, TX, and requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to customer sites, project locations, and industry events. Candidates who live within the territory are preferred, though this is not required. Duties and responsibilities- Include, but not limited to Define and execute territory sales plans, and identify emerging markets and new business opportunities Proactively identify and qualify large commercial and industrial end-users with high-volume energy needs Manage and grow large/strategic accounts, building consultative relationships with energy buyers, procurement directors, CFOs, and facilities engineers Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking activity and forecasts in the CRM Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, supply, legal, and risk teams to structure solutions that meet customer needs Stay current on the competitive landscape and market trends to inform sales strategy Represent Sapphire at industry conferences and events Qualifications- Include, but not limited to Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, or 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing in a similar role Travel required: approximately 50%, including in-state and out-of-state travel Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, Power BI, and AI tools Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences across management and cross-functional teams Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing perspective Ability to prepare reports and use appropriate modes of communication Proficient at analyzing data, building reports, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative, business-oriented solutions to problems Working conditions- Include, but not limited to Regular travel by motor vehicle and or air throughout the assigned territory, including to customer sites, project locations, and industry events Periodic visits to industrial and commercial facilities, which may involve outdoor conditions and site-specific safety protocols Standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for conferences and customer events Compliance with visitor PPE requirements (e.g., safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toe boots) when on active industrial sites Physical requirements- Included, but not limited to Ability to sit for extended periods while driving or working at a computer Ability to stand, walk, and navigate industrial facility floors, including stairs, during site visits Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and enter/exit unassisted Ability to lift and carry sales materials (e.g., laptop bag, presentation materials) as needed Growth Opportunities This position offers room for growth and development within Sapphire Gas Solutions' RNG, LNG, and CNG solutions-focused industry, specifically in business development, sales, and marketing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
