Job Description

• Design and Implement Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess the needs of patients and create individualized therapy strategies to facilitate the attainment of their functional objectives
• Conduct Therapeutic Sessions: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver well-rounded, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and significant others on therapy methods to ensure ongoing recovery at home
• Track Progress and Document Results: Monitor treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments, ensuring patients maintain their path towards wellness

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate credentials encouraged and well-supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
