We areseeking an experienced Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to provide locum tenens coverage at a respected community hospital inNiceville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoyscaring for an adult inpatient population in a collaborative, low- tomoderate-acuity setting with a predictable daytime schedule and no callresponsibilities. Position Highlights Assignment: August and September Schedule: Blocks of 3–5consecutive days available Typical schedule follows aweek-on/week-off model Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00PM No call required Practice Details Hospital Size: 45 beds Average Daily Census: 25–35 patients Average Daily Admissions: Approximately10 Consults: Approximately 2per day Patient Population: Primarilyelderly adults Trauma Level: No traumaservices Patient Acuity: Low to medium Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatientmedical management for hospitalized adult patients. Perform admissions, dailyrounding, evaluations, and treatment planning. Coordinate care with physicians,nursing staff, specialists, and case management. Participate in discharge planningto ensure smooth transitions of care. Document all patient encountersaccurately and efficiently.
