Position Overview

Resurge Rehab & Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional in-house rehabilitation team at our Centreville, Virginia location. Key Responsibilities

• Implement specific physical therapy treatment plans as developed in collaboration with the supervising licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring that each treatment aligns closely with patient goals.
• Provide hands-on care that focuses on exercises, gait training, balance work, and mobility support, tailored to each patient's progress and needs.
• Closely observe, document, and communicate patient progress, responses to interventions, and any changes in condition to the supervising therapists and healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on safety protocols, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness and reduce the risk of re-injury.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare regulations and facility guidelines, ensuring a transparent and efficient care process.

This position primarily focuses on geriatric patients, including those in post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and functional mobility improvement. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid PTA license in the state of Virginia is required.

Compensation and Benefits
