Executional Trader - Portuguese speaking

Accurately receive and execute trade orders from registered representatives, ensuring adherence to established trading protocols and regulatory compliance. Collaborate closely with senior traders and external brokers to ensure timely and accurate trade execution and settlement. Maintain comprehensive trading documentation including trade rotation logs, the best execution records, exception reports, and error resolutions. Assist the Head of Trading with implementing process improvements and driving efficiency in trading and operational functions. Contribute proactively to departmental and cross-functional initiatives that support the firm's broader strategic objectives. Apply risk management strategies to minimize exposure and ensure trading activities remain within approved risk parameters. Monitor fixed income markets and stay current on economic indicators, geopolitical events, and financial news impacting trading decisions. Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify investment opportunities and inform trading strategies. Share market insights and execution strategies with internal stakeholders to support cohesive team decision-making. Leverage trading platforms and related technologies to optimize execution performance. Keep informed of evolving trading technologies and integrate innovative tools to enhance daily workflows. Support continuous improvement efforts within trading operations to uphold operational excellence. Stay current on developments within global financial markets and regulatory environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced credentials such as an MBA or CFA are a plus. 5+ years of experience in financial services in a trading environment. Prior experience in fixed income trading or a related execution role strongly preferred. Solid understanding of financial markets, trading regulations, and compliance standards. Strong analytical, mathematical, and decision‑making abilities. Proficiency in Bloomberg and NetX360 platforms is preferred. FINRA Series 7 license required.
