Strategic Imperative:
The Sr. Account Manager is a critical client-facing leadership role within Prodege's Insights organization, responsible for retaining, growing, and expanding strategic client relationships. This individual serves as a trusted extension of the Director, Account Management-leading executive client relationships, driving commercial growth, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and mentoring 1-2 Account Managers.

Primary Objectives:
  • Strategic Client Leadership: Own senior relationships across key strategic accounts. Lead QBRs, SAPs, executive discussions, and issue resolution.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive retention, upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and accurate forecasting.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support 1-2 Account Managers. Act as an extension of the Director, Account Management.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution and proactive client management.

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)
  • Own and grow assigned strategic client accounts through consultative relationship management
  • Lead QBRs, Strategic Account Plans (SAPs), pipeline reviews, and HubSpot CRM discipline
  • Serve as senior escalation point for client issues and proactively identify risks/opportunities
  • Partner with Ops, Product, Tech, and Delivery teams to ensure strong execution
  • Mentor and support 1-2 Account Managers
  • Consult clients on research design, methodology, and execution
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and business updates
  • Travel regularly for client meetings, QBRs, industry events, and relationship-building

  • Revenue Growth:
  • Increasing the revenue generated from the accounts they manage is a upselling primary measure of success. This can include achieving sales targets, or cross-selling additional products or services, and renewing contracts.
  • Customer/Client Satisfaction:
  • Ensuring that clients are satisfied with the company's products or services is essential. High customer satisfaction can lead to client retention and positive referrals, which are indicators of a successful account manager.
  • Communication and Responsiveness:
  • Being accessible, responsive, and effectively communicating with clients can be a significant factor in success. Good communication helps address client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Effectively analyzing client data, market trends, and providing meaningful reports can demonstrate a deep understanding of the clients needs and contribute to a successful account manager's profile.
  • Contractual Agreements: Ensuring that the terms of contracts are met and that the client is satisfied with the delivered services is a critical aspect of success.
The MUST Haves: (ex: job cannot be done without these skills, education, experience, certifications,
licenses)
  • 7+ years in account management / client services / sales leadership in market research
  • Experience managing complex strategic accounts
  • Experience leading executive client conversations, QBRs, and strategic planning
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Strong commercial mindset, forecasting, and CRM discipline
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • AI comfort and ability to use to improve and optimize daily work
The Nice to Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Communications, Economics, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with global market research programs, including multi-country studies and international fieldwork execution.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methodologies, online sampling, survey programming workflows, and full-service research delivery.
  • Experience managing enterprise client relationships within market research agencies, consulting firms, brands, or Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify upsell, cross-sell, and account expansion opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Experience leading or participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), strategic account planning, and executive client presentations.
  • Familiarity with market research platforms, survey tools, or data collection ecosystems (e.g., Decipher/Forsta, Qualtrics, Lucid/Cint, Dynata, PureSpectrum, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Programming, Product, Data Processing, and Client Services teams.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, fast-moving client environments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Experience working in a quota-carrying commercial role with forecasting and pipeline management responsibilities.
  • Strong presentation skills with comfort engaging senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM / pipeline management tools.
  • Existing relationships within the market research ecosystem considered a plus.

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated on-target earnings range for this position is $87,000 to $135,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings for sales and account management reflect the base salary and commission potential only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Prodege offers a comprehensive benefits package to US Full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and basic life insurance. Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
