About the Role: We are seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas, in a full-time or locum tenens capacity. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Currently registered with the Kansas State Board of Nursing At least one year of experience in an area of placement within the past year Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Perform independent assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and trauma Manage chronic health problems Perform physical exams, administer immunizations, prescribe medications, and provide patient counseling Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays, electrocardiograms, etc. Saratoga Medical Center, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
