Job Description

Subject: Solutions Architect
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: Fulltime Permanent Job

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and leadership to Client IMC customers.
• Ensure successful execution of client professional services activities such as high‑level architecture design, assisted development and design reviews, as well as go‑live performance tuning and enterprise deployment.
• Maintain deep hands‑on technical knowledge of Client XAP and In‑Memory Computing application portfolio and design/architecture patterns.
• Support pre‑ and post‑sales field engineering teams through workshops, implementations, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and customers to become the trusted client advisor.

Qualifications

• Specialization in Java back‑end enterprise development is a MUST for this role.
• Java Enterprise Development. Any Big Data is a huge advantage.
• 6+ years experience in software development and architecture, including languages, systems and frameworks such as Spring/Java, RESTful Services, RDBMS, Messaging (JMS, RabbitMQ/AMQP), NoSQL, Transactions, and Multithreaded programming.
• Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as n‑tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Data Access (OR/M, DAO's, etc).
• 4+ years experience configuring enterprise application platforms and databases, example: Tomcat, JBoss, TIBCO, WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle, MySQL, Oracle.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating system fundamentals.
• Understanding of common source control and management tools (Maven, Ant, GitHub, Subversion).
