Job Summary:
The position of Ultrasonographer Echo is based in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams, including adult, transesophageal, and pediatric echocardiography, under the supervision of a physician. Candidates will be required to bring their license on the first day and must have at least one year of experience in cardiac ultrasound. The work schedule consists of rotating shifts with on-call responsibilities, and the candidate must be within 30 minutes of the facility to respond to on-call needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 40 hours per week; 5x8-hour shifts. Share on-call obligations on nights, weekends, and holidays requiring a 30-minute response time.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred. Certifications required: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), or equivalent; Certifications in BLS (American Heart Association). Experience in adult, transesophageal, and pediatric echocardiography.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) with at least 1+ years of experience.
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as preparing exams, obtaining patient histories, evaluating test quality, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate patient care effectively.
