Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (ICC) position at a Level III Trauma, Magnet-eligible acute care hospital in Indiana, requiring telemetry and IV start skills with every other weekend availability.

Details

• Step-Down (ICC) unit within a 244-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Level III Trauma facility
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• One holiday required per 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirement; additional shifts may be picked up voluntarily
• May be required to float to sister Step-Down units (Level 2 or Level 3)
• Charting performed in Cerner
• No cost for parking

Requirements

• Active Indiana or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted if active by start date
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Royal blue scrubs required
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
