Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager opportunity in Bonham, TX onsite with hands-on ownership of recruiting, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, and key HR programs. Responsibilities Own full-desk recruiting for all open roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, build sourcing strategies, and support a strong candidate experience Manage end-to-end payroll and benefits administration, including plan selection, vendor management, and ongoing operational support Maintain working relationships with payroll and benefits providers to support accurate and timely processing and resolve issues Administer 401(k) , COBRA , FMLA , Short-Term Disability (STD) , Long-Term Disability (LTD) , Workers’ Compensation , and unemployment claims, including coordination with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions aligned with company policy and applicable law Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations Administer and maintain the company fleet vehicle program, including vehicle assignments, maintenance tracking, policy enforcement, and related record-keeping Design, administer, and continuously improve the employee incentive program Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential employee personnel files Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of progressive HR experience with hands-on responsibility across recruiting, multi-state payroll and benefits administration, and employee relations Proven experience managing full-desk recruiting and end-to-end benefits and payroll processes Working knowledge of FMLA , COBRA , 401(k) administration, disability leave, Workers’ Compensation , and unemployment claims processes Strong investigative skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism Excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with HRIS , payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trusted relationships with employees, managers, and external vendors Technologies HRIS Payroll systems Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications PHR , SPHR , SHRM-CP , or SHRM-SCP certification Prior experience managing a company vehicle or fleet program Experience in a multi-location or growth-oriented organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
