Outbound Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and overseeing daily outbound shipping activities for domestic and international shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Preparing and managing all required international shipping documentation, commercial shipping invoices, packing lists, and required certifications (e.g., certificates of origin, certificates of conformance).
• Coordinating documentation and shipment details with freight forwarders and carriers to support export declarations, AES filings, customs clearance, and delivery execution.
• Communicating directly with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pickups, monitor transit, resolve delays, and track late-day shipments and late carrier pickups.
• Distributing and prioritizing shipping workload throughout the day to meet operational deadlines and departmental objectives.
• Working closely with shipping, customer service group, sales, trade compliance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable U.S. and international shipping regulations.
• Maintaining accurate daily shipping logs, documentation retention, and records to support audits and performance tracking.
• Monitoring carrier responsiveness and performance; escalating issues as necessary.
• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
