Travel RN – Acuity Adaptable Unit (ICU/Progressive Care)

Unit Overview

• Acuity Adaptable Unit
• Not a traditional ICU – cares for a mix of higher-acuity patients based on clinical needs.

Experience Requirements

Must Have

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Recent ICU experience
• Experience caring for post-cardiac catheterization (post-cath) patients
• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
• Competency in sheath pulls
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience

Preferred

• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP/Balloon Pump) experience
• Swan-Ganz (Pulmonary Artery Catheter) experience

Scheduling Requirements

• Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Floating

• May float within the facility based on competency and scope of practice.
• May also float to affiliated facilities within a 40-mile radius , if needed.

Ideal Candidate

An experienced travel ICU RN with at least 2 years of nursing experience , strong post-cath and CRRT experience, competency in sheath pulls , proficiency with Epic , and flexibility to float between units or nearby facilities as required. Experience with Balloon Pumps (IABP) and Swan-Ganz catheters is highly preferred.
