divh2Accountant/h2pLocation: Burbank, CA/ppDuration: 9+ Months/ppVisa: USC/GC/EAD (On W2)/ppJob Description:/ppResponsibilities:/pulliReconcile the general ledger daily by reviewing reports, posting entries, and obtaining and filing various daily financial reports./liliAssist in maintaining accurate daily balancing of General Ledger Accounts to the Credit Unions core system reports./liliPost and/or adjust entries to the general ledger and reconcile bank accounts monthly/daily./liliAssist whenever needed with completing the Accounts Payable function (validating AP transactions, mailing out AP checks, etc.)/liliProvide analysis as needed/requested and perform various accounting transactions in support of the day-to-day operations of the department./liliWill be required to come into the Burbank, CA office (Mon-Fri) 8:00am PST or earlier (No OT hours)./liliPerson will be sitting in an open desk./liliPerson to follow the Farmers/CU COVID policy./liliBadge required parking (badge will be supplied on the first day at work)./li/ulpSkills Required:/pulliMinimum of 3-6 months worth of accounting-related experience./liliProficient in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF functions, etc.)./liliKnowledge Prolog and DNA, but not required./li/ulpEducation Required:/pulliRecent college grad (Bachelors degree) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics major./li/ul/div
