Shift: 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Must have own basic tool set (screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, sockets, etc)

Job Description

The Assembler plays a key role in building large, heavy equipment by performing mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and precise measurement skills to ensure accurate and high-quality assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, heavy equipment using mechanical aptitude and established work instructions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assembly work accurately.
• Measure and verify components using a tape measure to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Follow assembly line processes to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform installations and sub-assemblies as required for final product completion.
• Inspect assembled components for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment properly.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies in parts, drawings, or instructions.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while working in an indoor/outdoor bay environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor/outdoor overhead bay environment where large, heavy equipment is assembled. The shop can be hot and dusty, and you will work around industrial tools and machinery. You will regularly use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and handle mechanical components in a production settin

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL 33811.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
