Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Epic EMR used Floating between sister facilities within the state may be required Requirements Active CA RN license (Compact accepted) must be in hand at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS NRP certification preferred Skills in medication administration, continuous IV sedation, triage, and telemetry Experience with continuous IV sedation and triage required Telemetry experience preferred Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Additional Information Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront for consideration Candidates must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration at a lower bill rate Former Providence permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period and must live outside 50 miles of the facility Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem American Traveler Job ID P-750141.
