Anivas Tech is seeking a PM/Scrum Master to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 8+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment.
Requirements:
Lead Agile/Scrum delivery teams, facilitating all ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues in alignment with government contract requirements
Serve as a servant-leader for the delivery team, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, risk registers, status reports, and integrated master schedules
Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders on project delivery status, risks, and milestones
Coordinate across multiple workstreams, vendors, and government counterparts to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint metrics, and program-level key performance indicators
Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and work with product owners to prioritize and groom the product backlog
Ensure deliverables comply with contract requirements, quality standards, and government governance processes
Mentor team members on Agile best practices and support organizational agile maturity growth
US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
8+ years of experience in project management and/or Agile delivery roles, with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile coach
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream IT projects in dynamic environments
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent)
Proficiency in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
PMP certification (Project Management Professional)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification
Experience in a federal government or DoD program environment
Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) at the program or portfolio level
Experience supporting government Agile transformation or DevSecOps programs
