Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide appropriate interventions for patient stabilization.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• 2 years of emergency room specialty experience preferred.
• Active RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
