Pay Range: 50-65K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will bejoining a team of Sample Assistants, Designers, Production Coordinators, and Managers. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary. Our Ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, will be an excellent multitasker, comfortable working with different teams and will have strong communication skills.

• Communicating with Project Managers on all samples' status’

• Coordinating sample approvals from Buyers
\ N
• Responsible for reporting missing samples and any sample/art changes
\ N
• Responsible for requesting and following up with sample approvals and changes
\ N
• Communicating with Factories with relation to quality and art-related discrepancies
\ N
• Responsible for sourcing on new projects (price, MOQ, ETD)
\ N
• Communicating details including dimensions, materials, and colors to overseas vendors
\ N
• Work with designers to determine size or application errors from artwork to sample
\ N
• Constant follow-up on art changes from the buyer’s or factory’s request
\ N
• Get all samples photographed (with photographer), each marked with style number, customer, and factory.
\ N
• Review samples, make comments depending on quality or art discrepancies
\ N
• Understand changes and which samples need to be saved or discarded periodically
\ N
• Monitor samples on handand replenish as needed
\ N
• Ability to follow the project over months to completion
\ N
• Setting up/ visual merchandise the showroom with current products
\ N
• Pull & Return samples for meetings
\ N
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite

• Strong written and oralcommunication – correspondence with overseas factories and office communication

• Flexibility and abilityto prioritize rapidly changing projects

• excellent interpersonalskills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff

• Project coordination experience, working with multiple levels of input from clients and suppliers
\ N
• Ability to follow up over extended periods, including international time zone delays
\ N
• Excellent attention to detail including pictures, CADS, samples, and style numbers
\ N
• Strong computer and Internet research skills, including use of Excel
\ N
• Strong attention to detail
\ N
• Strong organizational skills as you will have an abundance of samples at all times.
\ N
• Ability to track projects and keep detailed notes on all data.
\ N

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2-4 years of production experience or industry- related experience
