Residential Counselor (CASAC) Location: Astoria, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time - Mon-Fri - 07:00am-03:00pm (Day Shift) Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 Per Year Full‑time onsite Residential Counselor (CASAC) position in Astoria, NY, working Monday through Friday with one rotating weekend day. Responsibilities Facilitate individual and group sessions Conduct assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Certification: CASAC-P, CASAC T, or CASAC (Full) certification Organizational and communication skills for effective interaction Critical thinking and sound judgment skills Experience in a multidisciplinary treatment setting Ability to facilitate sessions for substance use and co-occurring disorders Skills in crisis intervention and recovery planning Experience with electronic medical records systems Knowledge of 12‑step, self‑help recovery services, and motivational interviewing Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences with 1 year of experience in drug rehabilitation Associate’s degree in behavioral or social sciences with 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment High School Diploma with 3 years of paid experience in drug rehabilitation Please email: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
