Senior Accountant – Ogden, UT (On-site)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Ogden, Utah. This full-time, on-site role offers a highly analytical professional an excellent opportunity to oversee essential financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support our company's growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily banking and treasury activities, including executing and monitoring transactions, ensuring accurate general ledger coding, and prompt reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, financial statements, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online Advanced, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online Advanced.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
