The company possesses an enviable in‑house engineering capability, employing a team of chemical, metallurgical, and mechanical engineers who provide process engineering design, R&D, and support services for our potable and effluent water treatment, solid‑liquid separation, chemical dosing, remote monitoring and control, and mineral process optimisation plants. We are looking for a hands‑on, safety‑conscious CoolQuench Service Representative to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations at our client site. Key Responsibilities SHEQ Compliance Ensure proper PPE usage for yourself and team members. Deliver monthly safety updates to settler supervisors for team communication. Ensure SDS boards and safety documents are displayed and kept current at work areas. Adhere to and promote all client SHEQ policies and mine health and safety regulations. Operations Management Maintain mechanical equipment and chemical stocks. Provide excellent service to clients. Underground Operations (Optional) Conduct daily underground inspections to ensure systems run efficiently. Train and manage settler operators and ensure task performance. Maintain minimum chemical stock levels: 3 days underground, 2 weeks on the surface. Record and report weekly chemical consumption. Surface Operations Facilitate daily client meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction. Manage deliveries, collections, and ensure adherence to mine procedures. Provide continuous reports on water quality, settler draining, and site performance to management and clients. Attend site meetings and assist the Area/District Manager with additional tasks or improvements. Main Responsibilities Manage costs and handle timely invoicing to drive profitability. Look for opportunities to increase sales at existing and new sites. Driving profitability by managing cost saving, handling invoices on time and driving new sales at current sites and new sites. Perform cost benefit analyses of existing and potential customers. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling. Ensure sufficient and timely product deliveries when requested by your specific client and approved by your direct line manager. Forecast product use by your current client base. Evaluate all chemical addition programs and adjust dosing rates accordingly for proper product usage. Monitor the operability of WCM dosing systems at clients and replace / repair malfunctioning components in accordance with the clients SLA within a timely and reasonable timeframe. Continuous reporting to management and client on site performance (water quality, settler draining etc.) as determined by your manager. Attend all required site meetings with clients. Ensure all relevant weekly analysis is done on time and within required analytical accuracy as determined by WCM quality control standards and general good laboratory practice. Assist direct management with creating and maintaining workplace files to ensure files stay up to date. Ensure proper housekeeping at all chemical dosing stations. Maintain housekeeping, stacking and safety standards at onsite chemical store at various client working areas. Perform any additional tasks given by Area/District Manager that are not part of listed tasks relating to current site management, improvements or new business development. Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the responsible manager. Specific Requirements Experience: 3+ years in a similar role, preferably in water treatment. Matric (trade certification will be beneficial). Must be able to maintain mechanical equipment. A valid driver’s licence and own transport are required. Must pass mine induction and medical.
