Red Team Software Developer

Job Description Parsons is seeking Mid‑Level and Senior Red Team Software Developers to join an Agile development team that focuses on penetration testing and red team operations for critical national systems. Responsibilities Develop penetration testing / red team operations capabilities to validate the security of our nation’s most critical systems, including reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and exploit development. Quickly craft new scripts and capabilities to support active red team operations and ensure mission success. Collaborate with expert operations team to design and develop long‑term capabilities aligned with mission objectives. Leverage C2 tools such as Cobalt Strike to deliver integrated capabilities that maximize operator effectiveness. Required Skills Active TS/SCI clearance. Must pass the Red Team Developer Aptitude test before onboarding. Willing to travel 15% OCONUS/CONUS. 5+ years combined education/experience in software development, systems engineering, or cyber operations. 1+ years experience with C/C++/C# software development, including expertise in red team/offensive cyber operations capability development for Windows. 10+ years combined education/experience in software development, systems engineering, or cyber operations (senior level). 3+ years experience with C/C++/C# software development, including expertise in red team/offensive cyber operations capability development for Windows (senior level). Desired Skills Current TS/SCI clearance. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD). Experience with Command and Control frameworks or capabilities, especially Cobalt Strike. Experience with advanced red team/offensive cyber operations techniques, such as AV evasion and ASLR mitigation. Security Clearance Requirement Active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00.
