This role matters because it directly supports clients in improving financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and making informed business decisions. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Hybrid / On-site Location: Lincolnshire, IL Pay: $70000-73000 yearly Team: Client Advisory Services team Mission: This person supports a diverse client base by providing accounting, financial reporting, advisory, tax, and process-improvement activities to strengthen their financial health. Tech Stack: Excel, Microsoft Office What You'll Actually Do Client Support: Support various client accounting and advisory engagements, ensuring their financial and operational needs are met. Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end close processes and the preparation of accurate financial statements. Performance Analysis: Prepare financial forecasts, detailed financial analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) reports. Transactional Processing: Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and perform bank and account reconciliations. Tax and Compliance: Assist with business tax filings, including 1096, 1099, payroll, and sales tax filings. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience is required, with relevant internship experience potentially considered. CPA eligibility is also a must-have for this position. Skills: You must possess strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective written and verbal communication, alongside a strong client-service orientation, are also essential. Bonus: Candidates with an active CPA certification are preferred.
