Three Rivers Medical Center Louisa, KY 41230, USA Description Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Full-Time Position Job Summary Conducts individual, group and family therapy while maintaining a normal caseload. Completes psychosocial assessments, daily case notes, treatment planning and updates while working with the multi-disciplinary team. Establishes therapeutic relationship with patients and helps the patients respond constructively to treatment. Assists patients in their adjustments throughout treatment course. Interprets psychiatric treatment to the patient's family where appropriate. Helps reduce fear and other obstructive behavior towards the acceptance of psychiatric care and treatment continuation. Works with the hospital team from patient admission to discharge. Responsible for maintaining up to date records on the patient. Qualifications MA or MS degree in Social Work. Kentucky licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). 2+ years of supervised post degree work as a therapist specific to the population served by facility. 2+ years prior experience in psychiatric or mental health setting. 2+ years of experience in hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program and or outpatient clinic. Experience with mental status evaluations, DSM-V diagnosis, intake interviews, treatment plants, prognosis notes preparation, provision of individual and group therapies specific to population served.
