Technical  Analyst

Location: Deerfield, IL – Hybrid
Initial Training: Onsite 5 days/week for approximately 3–6 weeks
After Training: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Contract: 3 months to start
Compensation: $20 per hour

About the Role

Baxter International is seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join a cross-functional team supporting the development, testing, and deployment of a new revenue management system.

This role will play an important part in EDI initiatives, customer onboarding, process improvement, and technical solutions , while partnering closely with IT, business teams, suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, highly responsible, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong service mindset and collaborative approach.

What You'll Do

• Lead and/or support the development and implementation of key EDI initiatives .
• Support the development, testing, and deployment of solutions related to the new revenue management system.
• Support customer onboarding and related EDI activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical solutions.
• Collaborate with IT business partners, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders on key initiatives and projects.
• Ensure data standards and processes comply with HIPAA, DSCSA, GS1, and industry requirements .
• Support EDI data exchange and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate and complete technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities for technical skill development and process enhancements.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
• 5–7 years of EDI experience .
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or customer service experience .
• Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange and industry compliance requirements.
• Experience with EDI standards and languages such as:
• • ANSI X12
  • XML / UBL
  • HTML
• Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools .
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong team-oriented and service-focused mindset.
