Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Rockstar Automotive Technician / Mechanic – 4-Day Work Week / Flexible Schedule Independent, 20+ years in business, low turnover, high quality shop servicing all makes and models of passenger cars and trucks, and fleets of light and medium duty trucks. Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. No weekends or Fridays. Compensation: Elimination of flat‑rate pay for top technicians in favor of a performance‑based plan. Job Duties Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, AC re‑charges, front‑end alignments, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations. Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices. Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the source of customer problems and provide accurate repair recommendations. Inspect vehicles per state emissions and safety requirements. Perform necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness. Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
