Copywriter

RedTag is looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand Operations team. You'll write across a range of formats, including websites, advertising, brand campaigns, and content, for clients across multiple industries. You'll work closely with brand strategists and our SEO team, translating briefs into copy that's on-brand, audience-specific, and built for its channel. This is a full-time, in-house agency role with consistent variety in clients, industries, and content types. Copywriter Job Title: Copywriter Location: Louisville, KY Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview RedTag is looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand Operations team. You'll write across a range of formats, including websites, advertising, brand campaigns, and content, for clients across multiple industries. You'll work closely with brand strategists and our SEO team, translating briefs into copy that's on-brand, audience-specific, and built for its channel. This is a full-time, in-house agency role with consistent variety in clients, industries, and content types. Write and edit website copy, advertising copy, and brand and campaign content for client accounts Adapt tone and voice across multiple brands and audiences simultaneously, often within the same week Execute creative and content briefs from brand strategists and the SEO team, translating strategic direction into polished copy Collaborate with designers and account managers to ensure copy and creative are aligned before client delivery Incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients through revision cycles efficiently and without losing the thread Apply SEO writing principles to web and content copy, including keyword usage, structure, and on-page best practices Stay current on trends in advertising copy, brand voice, and content across digital channels 2–4 years of professional copywriting experience, agency experience preferred Portfolio demonstrating range across web, advertising, and brand or campaign content Ability to write in multiple brand voices and shift between them cleanly Comfortable working from a brief and managing multiple projects at different stages Working knowledge of SEO writing principles Strong collaboration and communication skills across creative, strategy, and account teams Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience Experience writing for paid social formats (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) Familiarity with UX writing or conversion-focused copy Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush Why RedTag?
