RN Unit Manager

RN Unit ManagerSkilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.The RN Unit Manager works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee daily nursing operations, promote regulatory compliance, develop staff, and ensure positive outcomes for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the DON/ADON with the daily operations of the nursing department.Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to nursing staff.Monitor resident care to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to established standards.Conduct daily rounds and identify opportunities for improved resident care and staff performance.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.Participate in regulatory surveys and maintain ongoing survey readiness.Address staff concerns, resolve issues, and escalate clinical or operational concerns appropriately.Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive resident care.Assist with staff education, competency development, and performance improvement initiatives.Promote a positive, professional, and resident-centered nursing environment.QualificationsActive Florida RN license required.Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.PointClickCare experience is a plus.BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)Medical, Dental & Supplemental InsuranceEmployee Recognition ProgramsSupportive, Team-Oriented Work EnvironmentOpportunities for Professional GrowthIf you are an experienced RN leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, we want to hear from you!Apply today and take the next step in your nursing leadership career with Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
