QC Analytical Chemist

Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist in Albany, NY to conduct GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical samples including raw materials, APIs, and intermediates. The role involves analytical method execution, investigations of testing anomalies, and method transfer support.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and review of pharmaceutical samples per approved methods and specifications
• Perform analytical testing using multiple techniques including LC, GC, NMR, ICP-OES, and spectroscopy
• Support method transfer, qualification, and verification activities
• Investigate out-of-specification and invalid test results
• Manage reference standards and conduct elemental impurities and residual solvent testing

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience, or MS with 1+ years
• Minimum one year industry experience with LC, conductivity, and titration
• Demonstrated proficiency with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Compensation: $30.00-$39.00 per hour based on education and experience
