QC Analytical Chemist - 3rd Shift

Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist for third-shift pharmaceutical testing at its Albany, NY facility. The role involves conducting GMP-compliant testing of pharmaceutical materials using multiple analytical techniques, supporting method transfers, and investigating out-of-specification results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical testing and review of pharmaceutical samples per approved methods and specifications
- Perform testing on in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples
- Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
- Support investigations of out-of-specification and invalid results
- Execute reference standard qualification and management tasks
Requirements
- BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience
- MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 1+ year GMP/GLP testing experience
- 1+ year industry experience with Liquid Chromatography, Conductivity, and Titration
- Proficiency with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
- Knowledge of GMPs, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Compensation: $35.50-$45.00 per hour based on education and experience
