Senior QC Analytical Scientist - 3rd Shift Group Leader

Eurofins PSS seeks a Senior QC Analytical Scientist to lead a 3rd-shift team conducting GMP testing of pharmaceutical materials and supporting method transfer and investigation activities. The role requires expertise in multiple analytical techniques and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3-5 analytical chemists on 3rd-shift operations
• Conduct analytical testing and method reviews for pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, APIs, and stability samples
• Support method transfer, qualification studies, and investigations of out-of-specification results
• Develop team members through hiring, onboarding, and performance management activities
• Ensure laboratory operations maintain quality and efficiency standards while balancing technical and leadership duties

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry or related field with 5+ years GMP/GLP testing, or MS with 3+ years experience
• 3+ years hands-on experience with LC, conductivity, and titration methods
• Proficiency with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
• Deep knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211
• 1+ years of prior team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Compensation: $38.00-$55.00 per hour based on education, leadership experience, and industry background
