Front Desk Agent

We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to join our team in assisting with all aspects of hotel guest's accommodations. Applicants must be self-motivated in a customer service-oriented atmosphere and must have a full understanding of the importance of working as a team to provide great customer service to our guests. Must feel comfortable in all situations, showing confidence and able to make fast decisions in any situation. Full time (35+hrs/week) primarily seeking afternoons with shifts ranging from 1pm-9pm to 3pm-11pm, weekends and holidays availability needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Register guests collecting all necessary information
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
• Monitor all areas of the hotel to assure secure and safe.
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
• Document any guest comments/maintenance requests.
• Maintain all areas of the front desk.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
• Experience with hotel reservations software
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
