Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist to join the team at our fast-paced Podiatric clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Patient Reception: Welcoming patients, verifying identity, distributing intake forms, and ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Scheduling & Intake: Managing provider calendars, confirming appointments, updating demographics, and preparing charts for upcoming visits.
• Billing & Insurance: Verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining prior authorizations, and collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Communication: Answering high-volume calls, triaging messages to clinical staff, and managing records/referrals.
• Surigcal Coordination

Other duties

• Office Triage: Calming anxious patients and helping with medical emergencies in the waiting area.
• Clinical Support: Assisting medical assistants or nurses with rooming patients, taking vitals, or prepping exam rooms.
• Facility Management: Ordering medical/office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and keeping the lobby clean

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a front desk receptionist or similar role is preferred
• Must be bilingual - English and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Familiar with computers and scheduling software
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
