Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries, including routine and high-risk births
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidural support in collaboration with the care team
• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and newborn care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
