Food Service Worker

Job Summary

In this 4.5 hour a day position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning up food items while maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchens, dining areas, and storage spaces.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or a related field is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
