They have an immediate need for a Fund Finance Technology Analyst to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance. Company Overview Our client is a leading global investment management firm seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join its Private Markets Technology team. This position sits at the intersection of fund accounting, finance operations, and technology, partnering with accounting, operations, and technology teams to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance reporting across private equity and private credit funds. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy fund accountant, finance analyst, or operations professional looking to leverage both their accounting knowledge and technical skills in a highly collaborative environment. Work Schedule Hybrid. 2 days in the office, 3 work from home. Responsibilities Analyze and document private markets accounting and finance processes across the fund lifecycle. Partner with accounting, operations, fund administrators, and technology teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities. Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation. Support accounting and reporting system enhancements and implementations. Improve reconciliation processes, data quality, and internal controls. Develop process maps, reporting dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level presentations. Assist with workflow optimization, business intelligence initiatives, and AI-driven process improvements. Qualifications 3-10 years of experience in fund accounting/financial reporting within financial services. Private equity, private credit, or alternative investment fund experience is required. Understanding of fund accounting, including NAVs, capital calls/distributions, financial reporting, LP allocations, and fund administrator oversight. Experience with fund accounting or portfolio management platforms such as Allvue, Investran, Geneva, Yardi, or similar preferred. Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, VBA, financial modeling). SQL experience (MySQL, Snowflake, or similar) strongly preferred. Python experience (Pandas, PySpark, or similar) strongly preferred. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or other business intelligence tools is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools for documentation, reporting, or workflow automation is highly desirable.
