Market analyst

The Home Market Analyst will support the companies Home Market PPMs in development of customer pricing strategies, strategy execution, and market coherency. Emphasis on data gathering and analysis to improve rate, volume, and profit performance. Must be able to work Hybrid ONSITE 2 days a week. Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree is REQUIRED
• Entry Level- 1 year plus experience
• Knowledge of visual tools such as: Power BI, etcf.
• Familiarity with Advanced Analytics tools of data warehousing and mining such as: Scala, R, Python, SQL, Matlab, SAS, SPSS, Minitab, Hive, Hadoop, Pig, Tableau, Spotfire, etcg.
• Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with large sets of data, pulling in relevant team members to address identified and sometimes undiscovered needs

Responsibilities

• Analyze home market customer pricing opportunities
• Monitor market retail variations
• Identify and Analyze competitive threats
• Authenticate and report out on promotional activation
• Maintain executive key account promotional calendar
• Assist in market segmentation analysis and implication
• Support for yearly CMA compliance and implementation
• Serve as RGM proxy for customer CCT's when PPM is not available
• Perform detailed market analysis on rate vs. market share
• Partner with Sparkling PPM and Stills PPM on package strategies to ensure implementation across customers and channels
• Provide cross functional support for account executives through customer specific analysis
• Preform annual pricing validation for NRS customers for all price increases
• CPA/Invoice validation
