Carrier Operations Specialist

What You’ll Do: Own day-to-day execution for a high-volume account base of dedicated and private fleets within the portfolio Navigate multiple internal systems and proprietary software platforms to efficiently offer rates, secure capacity, and manage freight execution Keep tracking systems updated in real time, maintain frequent communication with carriers, and manage shipment status leading up to pickup appointments Monitor and manage 100+ daily pickups and deliveries Communicate consistently with carriers and internal Avenue reps Troubleshoot delays, appointment changes, and service issues in real time Ensure top-tier service and execution across all shipments We’re looking for someone who: Has 2+ years of experience in freight transportation (3PL experience preferred), specifically working with carriers Has experience navigating internal TMS platforms and proprietary software systems to post trucks, offer opportunities, and book freight Has strong communication and problem-solving skills Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Is detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and ownership What We Offer: Competitive base salary + variable commission structure Opportunity for rapid career growth within a scaling company Hands-on training alongside experienced industry leaders 401(k) with company match Fun, energetic, and team-driven work environment The pay range for this position is $60,000-$95,000 OTE.
