Join a compassionate healthcare team in the Southeastern U.S. region as a Certified Medical Assistant supporting OB/GYN providers. This role blends administrative and clinical duties to ensure smooth patient care and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and licensed medical staff with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, update charts, and compile relevant data.
• Administer care under supervision, including treatments, dressing changes, and medication administration.
• Assist providers during procedures and examinations, including chaperoning and setup.
• Collect and process lab and pathology samples, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity, and accurate documentation of care.
• Perform patient education as directed by providers.
• Manage front desk duties such as greeting patients, scheduling, and assisting with coding and billing input.
• Coordinate with external healthcare partners to support patient care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment following infection prevention standards.
• Float to other clinics as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with successful completion of a nationally recognized certification exam (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in an outpatient setting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening situations promptly.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and providers both in person and via phone.
• Physical ability to perform clinical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Comfortable handling potentially infectious materials with adherence to safety protocols.
