Adjunct Nurse Aide I Instructor — Nursing Education & Labs

Role Overview The role of Adjunct Nurse Aide I Instructor is to provide teaching strategies that maximize student success in the Nurse Aide I course. The curriculum is mandated by the Department of Health Services Regulation and the instructor delivers the curriculum in accordance with CCCC faculty policy. This position may be based in Lee, Chatham, or Harnett County. Responsibilities Deliver the curriculum by presenting discipline‑specific learning outcomes through lecture, demonstration, projects, assignments, and appropriate classroom management. Provide authentic student assessment to document learning outcomes. Prepare and deliver theory, lab, and clinical components of the class. Administer written and skills exams and maintain accurate class reports, rosters, and grade reports. Conduct lab practice sessions and skills check‑off. Maintain and care for equipment. Submit class rolls and documentation per policy. Maintain current industry licensure. Travel to other sites and campuses within the service area of Chatham, Harnett, and Lee counties as required. Travel to various clinical locations. Assist in maintaining a positive, interactive, and inclusive learning environment for all students. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associate degree in Nursing. Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. At least two (2) years (4000 hours) of work experience as a registered nurse. Completion of a course in teaching adults, experience in teaching adults, or experience in supervising nurse aides. Experience in adult education. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). Provide unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts; official copies will be required before the start date.
