Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled ICU RN licensed in New York with at least two years of experience to provide specialized critical care in a hospital setting. This role requires flexibility in floating and adherence to strict travel and certification policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and clinical data, promptly responding to changes.
• Document patient progress accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with certification and facility policies, including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS requirements.
• Float to other units as needed, providing expert care across various critical care scenarios.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license, in hand, to submit for consideration.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting systems.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Be willing to float and adapt to various clinical settings within the facility.
• Maintain compliance with all travel, RTO, and background policies.
