SUMMARY:

As a Bartender your job is to fill drink orders either directly from a guest or through servers who place drink orders for dining room guests in the restaurant setting. They must be knowledgeable about a wide range cocktail recipes and be able to mix those drinks correctly, quickly, and without waste. Bartenders are expected to interact with guests to supply them with a drink that appears directly to their tastes. Bartenders are also responsible for taking and serving food orders to guests. They play an important role in guest satisfaction as they are responsible for checking on guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and drinks and take action to correct any problems. The goal is to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full bar service including wine, beer and crafted cocktails
• Check guests' identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Make drinks in a quick and efficient manner
• Provide excellent guest service
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Keep bar clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payment
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all guest service guidelines

• Able to use hands and fingers to feel.
• Able to move equipment which would include pushing pulling, bending, and lifting.
• Able to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, kneel, or stoop.
• Able to walk quickly to/from job locations up to 200 feet
• Able to regularly lift/and or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have good hearing and visual acuity to observe equipment, The Funplex guests, etc.
• Able to read and understand daily checklists, rules and regulations.
• Able to speak to give verbal instructions to guests and other employees.
• Able to work in a considerably noisy environment from equipment and amusements rides.
• Able to perform work duties outside in carrying weather conditions prevalent at the times.
• Requires early arrivals and or/late night departures.

Bartenders' requirements and qualifications

• T.I.P.S certification a plus
• ServSafe certification a plus
• Must be 18 years of age or older per New Jersey guidelines

About the Organization
Lahn Hospitality Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.
Since 1997, The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with two locations along the East Coast. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.
In December 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ, a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club underwent significant renovation including a new restaurant, atrium event facility, and much more. In the fall of 2023 LHAG opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, complete with 125 rooms and the first in the area to combine two different Wyndham brands.
