Sterile Processing Technician

Shifts available:

• 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with call/lates and weekend requirements (1 position)
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with call/lates and weekend requirements (2 positions)

Minimum of 2 years of Central Sterile/Sterile Processing experience

Prior travel experience is needed

Certification from CBSPD or HSPA is required

BLS certification is required

Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and other medical equipment following manufacturer's Instructions For Use (IFU).

Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize medical devices according to manufacturer's IFUs.

Operate automated washers, ultrasonic cleansers, cart washers, and sterilizers as per manufacturer's IFUs.

Inspect surgical instrumentation during tray assembly to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.

Prepare surgical case carts for add-ons and/or emergency cases.

Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate all instrument and supply needs promptly.

Complete regular cleaning of all department areas, and maintain accurate cleaning logs and product out-dates.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental functions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
