Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery

SCHEDULE
Days, 12 hours, variable start times (typically ranging from 5 AM to 6 PM)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of RN experience
- Pre/Post Op experience
- PACU experience
- Epic EMR experience (preferred)
- Active Michigan RN License
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as per the physician's plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and assistance with transfers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise care as necessary.
- Accurately process physician orders and perform the ordered care timely and completely.
- Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.
