HR Coordinator

Human Resources CoordinatorWieland is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator. The HR Coordinator handles administrative tasks that support the HR team and prioritizes HR customer service. In addition to collaborating closely with the HR team, this role also works closely with the HR & Labor Relations Manager and Production Supervisors.Pay Range: $49,900 - $74,900 annually. May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.This role is located in East Alton, IL and will be fully on-site.ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Coordinator Responsibilities:Responsible for tracking and reporting weekly and monthly data for the Union and HR Dept.Responsible for grievance scheduling and all disciplinary supportResponsible for all administrative duties to support labor relationsTracks attendance and leaves of absence; coordinates with the Leave Management teamServes as the lead HRIS administrator, maintaining and updating system changes, including pay progressions, job bids, and shift changes. Maintains employee and training records.Administers service awards and assists with company events – job fairs, benefits-related, retirees, luncheons, etc.Liaison to Supervisors and production employees, providing prompt follow-up to HR related questions and issuesAssists with interviewing and onboarding of new hires as needed; serves as a backup to HR GeneralistAssists with large projects and initiatives (I-9 audit, compliance training)QualificationsHuman Resources Coordinator Qualifications:Minimum associate degree in business, human resources, or related field plus three years of related experienceExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, HRIS, and time keeping systems)Good Excel skillsExcellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and prompt follow-throughAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingPossesses high ethical standards; maintains confidentialityAbility to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlinesJoining Wieland's team gives you…Benefits Starting on Day 1!
