Leasing Specialist
Join our team as a leasing specialist in Pheonix, AZ! If you enjoy connecting with people, helping individuals find their next home, and supporting affordable housing communities, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your leasing career! Coffelt Tenant is a 301-unit affordable housing community located on 34 acres in Pheonix, with single-story duplex homes. The community operates under LIHTC, HTF, CDBG, and RAD PBRA affordable housing programs. We're looking for a full-time leasing specialist who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping prospective residents navigate the leasing process while contributing to a vibrant, resident-focused community.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Conduct community tours and guide prospects through the leasing and application process.
- Prepare leases, applications, and resident documentation in accordance with LIHTC & Fair Housing requirements.
- Complete follow-up communication with prospects and support resident retention efforts.
- Provide administrative support including filing, record maintenance, and service request coordination.
- Assist with compliance interviews and coordinate documentation with the Compliance team.
- Support outreach marketing, resident communications, and move-in/move-out processes.
What you'll bring:
- Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Affordable Housing/LIHTC experience is a plus!
- Experience with RealPage / OneSite property management software preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) preferred.
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation & benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay between $18 to $20/hour based on experience.
