Now Hiring: Center Director – ELS Language Centers Department: Operations Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt About the Role: ELS is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Center Director to lead and manage the operations of our English language learning center. As the Center Director, you will oversee day-to-day operations, support student success, lead a high-performing team, and ensure financial and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Hire, lead, and mentor a diverse team, including administrative and academic staff Foster a collaborative, student-centered culture and ensure staff performance aligns with organizational goals Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace Student & Partner Relations Build strong relationships with university partners, landlords, referral sources, and the local community Develop and implement student support services that enhance satisfaction, retention, and success Counsel students as needed and maintain a welcoming environment Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements Oversee center appearance, safety, and daily operations Utilize operational systems and tools effectively (e.g., Guesty, Odyssey) Financial & Strategic Oversight Manage the center’s budget and fiscal operations, including tuition collection Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency Report regularly on KPIs and propose innovative strategies for center development Academic Quality Support the delivery of a high-quality English language program Ensure materials and instruction meet ELS standards Collaborate with the Academic Director to uphold educational excellence Qualifications: Proven leadership experience in education, international programs, or service-oriented operations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Budget management and P&L experience preferred Passion for working with diverse student populations Why Join ELS?
